Last week Jason went to the 2013 NAMM with Elliott Guitars. NAMM, the National Association of Music Merchants, is massive trade show where musicians and music merchants come together from all over the world.
The guys got to hang out in the 65amps booth with Peter Stroud, and Dan Boul, the president of 65amps.
After the NAMM, they headed over to the Imperial Ballroom for the after party (sponsored by 65amps, TonePros, Fullerton Museum, Fargen Amplification, and Duesenberg) for some great performances by “The Dirtyknobs” featuring Mike Campbell (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers) and special guests, Earl Slick (guitarist for David Bowie, and played with John Lennon), and Orianthi (lead guitarist for Michael Jackson, and was named one of “12 Greatest Female Electric Guitarists” by Elle magazine).
Duesenberg Guitars presented Mike Campbell with his new signature model (below)…
…and they also presented Orianthi with a guitar, which she named “Wilbur” that night…. (below)
