What type of photography do you do? We are husband + wife photographers, Jason + Heather Barr. Together we are Revival. We've been photographing weddings and life for over 11 years now. We see ourselves as storytellers, documenting moments in a way that captures a certain "authenticity" within a photograph. We're based in North Carolina, we specialize in destination weddings, elopements, and editorial photography in North Carolina and beyond.

Many people often say that our photography has an editorial feel to it. We love photographing a mix of wedding day details, as well as emotions and real moments as they happen.
What can I expect to invest in photography? Portrait sessions start at 700, and weddings start at 4000. Contact us for a custom quote!
What happens before my photoshoot/ the wedding day?
Before your session we'll either meet face to face, talk over the phone or chat via email so that we get to know each other and discuss a plan. When a date/time is decided for your session, we will invoice you for a 50% payment to book the session date. For weddings, we love to meet with our couples face to face, have a coffee, get to know each other, talk about wedding day plans, ideas, collaborate on photo ideas for the big day, and just hang out and talk life. A week or two before the big day we will put together a wedding day photography timeline and work with you and your wedding planner to figure out a plan that works for you.
What happens during my photo session?
A typical session will last between 1-3 hours and portrait and family collections include from 20 up to 75 images, depending on the type of session. With weddings you will get approximately 50-75 edited images per hour of coverage on your USB Collection. The second 50% of your session/wedding fee is due by a week before the wedding day.
What happens after my photo session/wedding?
We usually need approximately 3-4 weeks to edit and prep your images for you, approximately 5-6 weeks for weddings during the busy seasons. We'll send you a highlight preview a couple of days later. Once all of your images are ready, we will notify you via email that your full gallery is ready. After you've reviewed your gallery, we'll prep your USB Collection (if that is included in your package) to ship out! You and your guests will have the option to order professional prints, wall art, and storybook albums if you choose, directly from the gallery. We are always available to assist you if you have any questions or need any help making prints. If you prefer not to order via our online shopping cart, we will be glad to take your order and send you an invoice if you prefer to mail a check. Just let us know what works best for you!
Do you provide the high resolution digital files to the couple? Yes. Every wedding package includes a USB containing the collection of the edited, high resolution wedding day images + print and web sharing release. We also offer professional printing services and album design, which will be available to you and your family + friends in your private wedding gallery.
Do you retain copyright for the photos? Yes. With the USB Collection, which is included with our wedding packages, our clients are free to print the photos up to any size at any photo lab of their choice. Clients will have the right to use the photos for personal purposes.
How do I pay?
We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express, as well as Paypal and Square. We do offer payment plans.
Do you travel?
Yes! We love to travel, and find that we typically do travel out of town for most of the weddings we do. We are available for travel worldwide. Travel fees may apply if you are located outside a 25 mile radius of 28678. For destination weddings, lodging and transportation (airfare or gas) to and from the event will be an additional fee.
